About Vicky

My approach is warm, non-judgemental and grounded in building a genuine therapeutic relationship. I won’t analyse you from a distance — we will work together, at your pace, to explore what’s going on beneath the surface.

I work with a wide range of cultural and personal backgrounds, and I value creating a space where you feel respected, understood and able to be yourself. Starting counselling can feel like a big step. You don’t need to have everything figured out — just a willingness to begin.

My journey into counselling came through my own life experience. Experiencing bereavement changed something in me. It brought me face to face with how overwhelming life can feel, and how difficult it is to carry that alone. It also showed me the value of having support beyond family and friends — a space where you can speak openly, without worrying about protecting others.

That experience led me to counselling and continues to shape the way I work today. I understand what it feels like to sit with emotions that are hard to make sense of — whether that’s grief, confusion in relationships, or feeling stuck in patterns you can’t quite shift. Because of this, I aim to offer a space that feels calm, supportive and real.

Level 4 Dipolma in Therapeutic Counselling.

Alongside my private practice, I have gained valuable experience working within community and charitable settings. I worked with SLCS from 2023 to 2026, providing free and low-cost counselling to individuals who may not otherwise have access to support. This role deepened my understanding of working with a diverse range of clients and presenting issues.

I also volunteered with Woodside Bereavement Services from 2022 to 2024, supporting individuals navigating grief and loss. This experience continues to inform my compassionate and sensitive approach when working with bereavement.
